Ancient Guardian is an ode to the fictitious Balinese Surf God, which was coined in the late 90s from surf/skate culture. The Viking Longship heads and Fanged Temple God carvings intended to ward off evil spirits are also part of the influence. 

My work is influenced by psychedelic surf art. The original piece is A3 Pastel and Acrylic
